Concrete and brick cleaning service
Our concrete and brick cleaning service removes dirt and grime without damaging or discolouring the surface of the wall. Over years of bad weather and heavy pollution, buildings can naturally develop an unsightly level of discolouration or decay. The natural beauty of the brickwork can be lost behind layers of dirt as can any intricate or ornamental exterior features. However, with our concrete and brick cleaning service your building can soon be restored to its original state, even if it is listed, or particularly old or fragile. We use industry-standard equipment and a specially formulated bio-degradable cleaning solution during our concrete and brick cleaning projects. We combine this solution with treatment from Restorative Techniques’ ThermaTech System, a state of the art piece of equipment which cleans with low pressure, high temperature steam. This not only removes any and all dirt from surfaces it will restore the brickwork to its original colour. The brick faces will not be damaged or altered in appearance as can occur when more aggressive techniques like sandblasting are used. Only the dirt is removed leaving the building looking good as new and without any ghosting or patches of abrasion.
Maricourt Catholic High SchoolWe have already used this equipment to clean the delicate tiles on the roof of Maricourt Catholic High School in Maghull, Merseyside. The building is listed and the delicate clay rosemary roof tiles required an effective but not overly-aggressive cleaning process. The roof was restored to its original appearance without any evidence of the cleaning taken place.
Stone Cleaning ServiceHere at Cleaning Service ltd we use our years of experience and expertise to provide one of the United Kingdom’s most efficient stonework cleaning services, taking advantage of specialised techniques and industry-leading equipment.
We have worked for years in the surface conservation and restoration fields and take pride in our ability to remove the most stubborn stains or vandalism without causing any damage to the stonework underneath. We use a number of physical and chemical approaches to stonework cleaning depending on the delicacy of the surface and the nature of the eyesore. Certain processes and substances may cause corrosion or staining to stonework which is particularly old or fragile, but here at Exterior Cleaning Services we use our knowledge and experience to ensure that only the paint is removed, leaving the stonework underneath in perfect condition.
Our chemical treatments are generally alkaline or acidic liquids designed to burn off the paint. We also use surfactants, such as degreasers or soaps, or other solvent based substances, this is later washed off leaving behind the brightest and cleanest stonework.
